While on a shopping in Barnsley (a town near where I live) I popped into boots and spotted an NYX counter! I don’t have one where I live so I was sooo excited when I spotted it! Something I have been wanting to try by NYX for ages is their soft matte lip creams because I have heard so much about them. I had to stop myself from buying the entire counter haha so in the end I picked up these 2 items: The soft matte lip cream in the shade 06 Instanbul and the retractable lip liner in the shade soft pink.
Retractable lip liner (soft pink)- I am not a massive fan of retractable lip liners just because I feel like they don’t last as long as pencil liners but since I loved the colour of this I got it anyway. I love this lip liner because it is quite soft, when you apply this it glides on the lips and doesn’t drag. The formula is really good and doesn’t smudge when its on.
Soft matte lip cream (Istanbul)- I am in love with the shade of this lipstick! Its like a pinky nude shade and perfect to pair with neutral makeup looks. I like the formula of this because its not too drying and it doesn’t crack once it dries which is a problem I have with some matte liquid lipsticks. This is more like a cream as the name suggests, which I love.
Those are the swatches of the lip liner and matte lip cream! The lip cream isn’t quite that dark in person its slightly lighter but its soooo nice I love it!
These are the first products I have tried by NYX and I am very impressed. Both products stayed on really well and are really good quality for an affordable price at £5.50 each.
Have you ever tried any products by NYX? If you have any reccomendations please make sure to let me know in the comments below!

I was inspired my Chanelle to do this post, She recently did a really great post on her blog which you can read here about her makeup storage. My makeup trolley has been in need of a tidy up for a while now and I finally got round to doing it, seeing Chanelle’s makeup all organized inspired me to organize mine better.
To store all of my makeup I use this little metal trolley that has 3 different compartments, on the other parts of it I use to store my skincare and hair products.
So that everything was organized I decided to give everything its own compartment; Makeup palettes and setting spray in the pink basket, eye products such as mascara, eyeliner and eyebrow pencils in one tin and then face products such as foundation, bronzer, concealer and primer in the other.
For lip products, the trolley has a handy little basket that hooks onto the front. It is perfect for storing my lip products such as lip glosses, lip balms and lipsticks. Although I might have to find somewhere else to store them soon as my lipsick/lipgloss/lipbalm collection is still evergrowing…
As you can see from the first picture my Real techniques makeup brushes slot in perfectly at the side of the pink basket which is a plus! I love how they come in those cases because they double as a brush stand.
I am really pleased with how this turned out, my makeup is much more organized now!
Hello everybody! Todays video is a Nude smoked look using the boots 17 ‘Nude smoke’ eye shadow trio that I got for Christmas. I fell in love with this and so I decided to do a makeup look based around it.
I love how this look turned out, this is definitely going to be a look that I will use more often!
I hope you all enjoy the video!
Also just a quick note: I have changed my name on here to Bella, I know it might sound a little random but let me explain.. My second name is Bell and as a nickname my friends and family call me Bella, I really like it and so I decided to change my name on here. My YouTube username is ‘Bella Beauty’ so now both my blog and YouTube match.
Hello everybody! I cannot believe that it is only a couple of days until the new year it is crazy! For todays post I decided to do a roundup of beauty products that I have been loving this year, some of them are new discoveries and some are ones I have loved for a long time but I am sure that I will continue to love and use them all in the upcoming new year.
Makeup revolution: I discovered this brand for the first time this year and it was love at first sight! All of their products are such high quality at an affordable price, the eye shadow palettes are highly pigmented and the packaging is always really nice.
Real Techniques: I had heard about this brand a lot but it wasn’t until a couple of months ago that I decided to buy some makeup brushes by them. I bought the Core collection kit and when I tried the brushes I quickly regretted not trying them sooner. They are amazing- so soft and they apply makeup flawlessly.
Rimmel: Rimmel are a brand that I have loved for a long time, but I decided to include them in this post because I have found myself using quite a few Rimmel products this year. I have used and loved the Kate lipsticks, good to glow highlighter and a more recent favourite.. the brow this way eyebrow gel.
Garnier Micellar water: I love, love, love this stuff! After using it my skin just feels so clean and refreshed. Not only that but it removes makeup that I didn’t realise was still on my skin. For example, I would use a makeup wipe to remove makeup and then use the Micellar water and the makeup would still be coming off my skin and onto the cotton pad.
ProVoke touch of silver shampoo: I have been using this product a lot this year as I have mostly been blonde apart from a brief period when I decided I wanted a change in colour. This product works wonders on my hair and gets rid of any unwanted brassy tones from the first wash which I think is amazing!
Soap and glory: This was another product that I tried for the first time this year. It all started when I tried a sample size of ‘The scrub of your life’ and I instantly fell in love with the smell and with the quality of the product. I went into boots and bought clean on me, hand food and heel genius. I loved all of them especially hand food, I always use it as my hands tend to get pretty dry, especially in winter.
I have discovered so many new beauty favourites in 2015 and I cant wait to discover more in the new year!
What beauty products have you been loving this year? Let me know in the comments below!
Hello everybody! Todays video is another holiday makeup look, I really enjoyed creating this. I used the Makeup Revolution salvation palette for my eyes which was an early Christmas present, the colours in this palette are gorgeous and perfect for this time of year.

December means Christmas time and Christmas time means all things sparkly! Today I will be sharing with you all 3 of my favourite glitter nail varnishes for the party season. I love glitter nail varnishes I think they add a touch of glamour to any nail design, although sometimes they can be awful to remove!
First up is a Nail Varnish by Sally Hansen in the shade ‘100 Copper penny’ True to its name it is a gorgeous copper glittery shade, I decided to use it with a gold nail varnish underneath because I think it really made the glitter stand out.
Next is the newest to my collection and I think my favourite one at the moment.. Barry M’s ‘Ruby slippers’ I love the colour of this, its red with a kind of pinky tone to it and it is just gorgeous! I used a pink nail varnish under this, but you could use red if you would prefer. The thing I love most about this is that it is very dense so that you can barely see the coat of colour underneath, which is something that most glitter nail varnishes lack. This one is perfect for this time of year and I think this is definitely the colour I will be choosing for my nails this Christmas.
Last but not least we have a glitter nail varnish by Rimmel in the shade 500 Disco ball. I paired this with a silver nail varnish because I think it goes really nice with this particular glitter. I love this nail varnish because it has different coloured specks of glitter in it which creates a lovely effect and shines in all different colours when on my nails.
So those were my top 3 glitter nail varnishes for the perfect Christmas nails. Glittery nails are the perfect accessory for Christmas and they look amazing paired with any outfit! Which glitter nail varnish is your favourite?
