Think Pink!

13014848_253779671635211_341458348_n.jpgHello everyone I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday! As you may be able to tell from the title, todays post is going to be about all things pink. I am so excited because today I am teaming up with Glossier to share some of my favourite pink things to celebrate the #glossierpink range! Glossier is a beauty company inspired by what girls need in real life. They are creating the new essentials: easy-to-use basics that form the backbone to your unique beauty routine. You can find their beauty products on their website here

I have always been a real girly girl, I just love anything in pink, handbags, lipstick, blush, anything!

Some of my favourite pink things include:

Nails/nail varnish: I must have about 50 different shades of pink nail varnish, I just love it! It’s my favourite colour to paint my nails and if I ever get them done at the salon I usually opt for pink then too!

Clothes: I actually don’t own many pink items of clothing but I do have the pink jumper in the picture above that I love. It’s so cozy!

Lipstick/lipgloss: I do love a bright pink lip, especially in the summer! It completes a makeup look and adds a girly feel.

Basically, I love anything pink! I have a pink fluffy charm for my handbag that is super cute! I bought my little dog a pink collar which she wears all the time, even a little pink coat for her for winter.. she looks so cute in it!

I have loved doing this collaboration with Glossier, especially getting to talk about all things pink! Don’t forget to check out their website and beauty range here for more information!

Are you a fan of pink? If so what are your favourite pink things?

♡ Make Up Mix! ♡

Hello everyone! Before I start I would just like to let you all know that I have decided on a blogging schedule. From now on I will be posting every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, I just think that it will be better and help me to be more organized with my posts. So make sure to look out for my posts on those days.

This post features a mixture of beauty products that I have been loving recently. Over these next couple of weeks I am going to try and be good and not buy any beauty products so we will see how that works out! Whenever I try not to buy things I always seem to see a really good offer on and then I cave in and buy loads of things. Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?

So a few beauty products that I have been using a lot recently include Maybelline primer, 2 lipsticks both nude shades of course. (I have noticed my lipstick collection growing quite a bit recently, I am not complaining though!) A makeup revolution palette and 2 Rimmel nail varnishes.

Maybelline baby skin instant pore eraser: Until I got this last week I had never used it before but I have to say, I have quickly fell in love with it! When I apply this to my skin it feels smooth and I notice the difference when applying my makeup with the primer underneath. It also really helps my makeup to stay in place throughout the day.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting finish lipstick in ’45’: Before getting this lipstick I got the one in shade ’42’ and I wanted to get this one too but they didn’t have it in stock. So the next time I went to Superdrug my partner treated me and bought me it, I am in love with the colour of this it is just gorgeous, its like a dark rosy nude colour and its just lovely!

Mac lipstick in the shade ‘Velvet teddy’: I mentioned this one in one of my posts last week. I won this lipstick in a giveaway and I am in love with it, it is the perfect everyday nude shade. It’s very versatile and can be worn with daytime or night time make up. Since getting this I have found myself reaching for it a lot as it just seems to pull together any makeup look.

Make up Revolution Beyond Flawless Palette: This palette is my favourite at the moment! It has a mixture of so many different gorgeous shades that range from lighter nude shades to the darker more smokier shades. As there are 32 different shades in this palette you can use it to create a range of different looks which I love.

Rimmel nail varnishes- ‘Glitter bomb’ and ‘Black cherries’: These two nail varnishes go lovely together, black cherries is a deep purple shade and I think it is just perfect for winter, the gold glitter goes really nice with it and complements the colour. I also love the glitter bomb one because in the glitter there is the odd little star which I think is so cute!

Mani Monday ~ Nails of the day!

Hello! Hope you are all having a lovely day, I am very lucky because of my job Mondays are no longer dreaded days so I always enjoy them.

Anyway, today I thought I would do a Mani Monday post, I love to paint my nails- I even studied Acrylic and Gel nails a while ago.

So I used the MUA Nail polish in ‘Truffle cream’ it is a lovely nude colour, Avon gold nail polish and George ‘3D glitter’ Nail polish. I love the effect that the George glitter nail polish gives, the picture doesn’t do it justice but it sparkles in all different colours.

I did a glitter fade on the nude coloured nails just because I thought it would add a nice effect. My nails are finally starting to grow a little longer, I have started taking cod liver oil tablets and they seem to be really working!

After I painted my nails I used CND cuticle oil to keep my cuticles nice and to stop them going dry. I love this cuticle oil and it works wonders- especially in winter. When my nails dried I then used a little dove hand cream to keep my hands nice and soft.

So those are my nails of the day… I hope you like them, Bye for now!

Introducing… me

I was listening to ‘Mouthwash’ by Kate Nash and it inspired me to do this post. I realised that I have not properly introduced myself…

My name is Siobhan but my family call me Bella as a nickname, I live in the U.K and I love to write, shop, take pictures, dance, sing and most of all I love to be happy!

Here are a few more things that I love…

I love starting new projects and having things to work on.. a few months ago I started to teach myself about acrylic and Gel nails. I was really determined to learn about it and so I did…

I love my Partner… this was us on a boat trip on my birthday 🙂 (excuse the face I’m pulling on this picture)

I love… my puppy we cuddle everyday. Whenever I am feeling down she always brings a smile to my face and makes me feel all warm inside.

I love bags.. as you can tell from the picture.

Oh and…

I love shoes!

Hope you liked learning a little more about me, Bye for now 🙂

Shop my stash!

I have seen a few of these videos on Youtube called ‘shop my stash’ The idea of it is that you go through your make up and you find things that you may not have used yet or things that you used to love and don’t use as much any more, and try to start using them again!

So I thought it would be fun to do a blog post about it! I have mixed it up a bit in mine and included other things such as clothes and hair products. I’m sure this has been done before but I thought I would do it too as I don’t really have that many makeup products that I don’t use.

Anyway on to the post…

The first thing I would like to talk about is the lovely top that I purchased from Primark a few months back. I haven’t actually worn this yet so I thought it would be perfect to include in this post. It is so pretty and I love the frill along the bottom, it would look so cute with a pair of leggings or some skinny jeans and I just cant wait to wear it. I’m not sure why I haven’t worn it yet I think I actually forgot about it to be honest. This is definitely going to the front of my wardrobe so I don’t forget about it again!

The second item is a Mascara from the ‘George’ range in asda. It is called ‘Big flirt’ and it says on it that it has a thickening effect. I bought this so long ago and I still haven’t used it, I usually use W7 Lashtastic mascara but when I saw this on offer I got it to try it out.

This is what my eyelashes looked like after putting on one coat of it and I have to say, I’m pretty impressed! I have trouble finding mascaras that make my eyelashes look nice and long, and only w7 Lashtastic mascara seems to work for me but I will definitely be using this mascara more!

The third item I chose was Rimmel London sun shimmer instant tan In the shade ‘Medium matte’ It was kind of an impulse buy when I got this. I don’t usually buy instant wash off tans because I am scared it will come off or rain and it will end up looking all patchy. I’m not sure if I will start using this or not, If any of you have ever used this what did you think of it?

Fourth on the list was from Andrew Bartons ‘Hair heroes’ range, a heat protection styling spray. I get quite lazy when it comes to things like this, I don’t straighten my hair too often but when I do I always for get to use heat protection sprays. But as the point of this post is to pick out items that I am going to start using more I am going to put this onto my dressing table and make a point to start using it! I love all my other hair products by Andrew Barton so I am sure I will love this too.

The fifth thing I chose was also a hair product, this is something that I did used to use a lot but since I have had my hair cut short I have stopped using. It is the John Freda Frizz ease Original six effects serum. When I wash and dry my hair it tends to end up quite frizzy so I used to use this and it works really well!

Last on the list was CND cuticle oil. A lady that works in the salon I go to get my hair done gave me this when I was having some problems with my nails. I used it a lot at first and when it made my nails and cuticles feel better I stopped using it. It smells lovely and I am going to try and start using it again because its always good to use some cuticle oil after painting your nails or even just to give your nails a quick refresh!

So that was my shop my stash post! I am going to start trying to use all these products more often.

Do you have any products you have purchased but not used? Or any pre-loved products you used to use but not as much nowadays? Let me know in the comments below!  🙂 x
